My etsy shop first began when my husband started online college classes. I needed to think of a way to spend my evenings, and of course, that usually means making something. I don't even remember how I originally found Etsy, back when it was a little baby website. But when I found it, I knew I would be hooked.

My first design ever was a silhouette of a raven on a branch, which was drawn onto shrink plastic and glazed over. This was then attached to a ring, and I felt this enormous sense of creativity suddenly surge through me. I was super excited about this new creation I had thought up! I began making other pieces and then started using my photography in my jewelry designs.

I was very involved with my store back in 2006 and spent long hours (often avoiding other household tasks ha!) designing, making, and shipping. But it was so thrilling! What a cool feeling to have people order my creations from all over the world. It was kind of weird actually...

So since then I have taken a long break to try my hand at other creations, and I'm making a return to my love of Etsy!
